About This Blog

Hello, I am Elizabeth Walker and this blog is a place to share how I teach and what I learn about teaching. I have been teaching since 2006 and taught middle school in the brick-and-mortar and grades 2-4 online. I am currently serving as a grade chair for a fantastic second grade online teaching team. This blog will explore finding a simpler, more effective ways to do what we must do, prioritizing when we can't do it all, resources that are really helpful, online education, and musings about our unique career and field of study. Although I currently teach online, most of what I do can be translated to brick-and-mortar just like most of what I did in brick-and-mortar can work in online education.
